Nathanial Zhang
Nathanial Zhang entered the Curtis Institute of Music in 2024, studying piano under Michelle Cann and Sasha Starcevich as a Gay Elliot Scott Scholarship Fellow. As a recipient of the US Chopin Foundation Scholarship, Nathaniel achieved the final of YoungArts Competition. He has performed as a soloist with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and the Florence Luigi Cherubini Conservatory Orchestra. He has won 1st prize in the MTNA Competition, the Virginia Waring International Junior Solo & Concerto Competitions, and top prizes in the Hilton Head International Piano Competition, Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition and the Minnesota International Piano-eCompetition.
Adrian Zaragoza
Adrian Zaragoza, a distinguished pianist of South-American heritage from Davis, California, began his musical journey at the tender age of four. He currently holds the prestigious William A. Horn Fellowship at the Curtis Institute of Music, studying under the esteemed Professor Michelle Cann. His musical prowess has been shaped by the guidance of renowned mentors such as Professors Richard Cionco, John McCarthy, Lara Downes, and Marjorie McBee. Mr. Zaragoza’s talent and dedication have earned him significant accolades, including being named a 2022 National YoungArts Finalist and securing top prizes in prominent international competitions.
Eunseo Yoo
Eunseo Yoo has received awards at major competitions in Korea, including 2nd Prize at the Eumak-Chunchu Competition, 2nd Prize at the Samick–Seiler Competition, 1st Prize at the Kookmin Newspaper & Hansei University Music Competition, 1st Prize at the Korea Liszt Competition, 3rd Prize at the Korea Steinway Competition, and 2nd Prize at the 2020 Ewha & Kyunghyang Competition. Internationally, she was awarded 3rd Prize at the Astana Piano Passion in Kazakhstan (2019) and won 1st Prize at the W. A. Mozart International Piano Competition in Lugano (2020), where she also received the Leopold Mozart Prize for the best performance of a Mozart work. Yoo has been active as a performer, appearing in recital at the Kumho Prodigy Concert Series, collaborating with the Gimpo Philharmonic Orchestra, and regularly performing at The House Concert July Festival. Eunseo Yoo is currently studying at the Curtis Institute of Music, having previously studied with Professor Emeritus Soojung Shin, and is now under the guidance of Professor Robert McDonald while pursuing both her academic and performance activities.
Yenfei Wang
From Taipei, Taiwan. Yenfei Wang began studying piano at the age of four and has developed a highly expressive and versatile musical voice. In 2024, Yenfei was admitted to the Curtis Institute of Music as a Piano major, where she studies with Prof. Ignat Solzhenitsyn. Prior to her studies at Curtis, Yenfei studied with Xiaohan Wang at The Tianjin Juilliard School, and with Gwhyneth Chen and Prof. Chia-Wei Chung in Taiwan. She has also participated in masterclasses with distinguished pianists including Gary Graffman, Robert McDonald, Sa Chen, Robert Levin, and Đặng Thái Sơn, among others. Her awards and honors include Fourth Prize at the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition (Zhuhai, China, September 2022), First Prize at the Guangzhou Summer Piano Competition (2022), First Prize at the Taipei City Student Music Piano Competition (Taipei, Taiwan, July 2019), Second Prize at the World Piano Teachers Association Piano Competition (Taipei, Taiwan, July 2019), First Prize in the Baroque Category at the Taiwan National Music Competition (2017), First Prize at the Taiwan Excellence Music Competition (2014 and 2017), and Third Prize at the Taiwan Excellence Music Competition (2015).
